Robert Mugabe stars in Nandos social media campaign

The old, well worn, phrase of 'A picture paints a thousand words' holds true today as much as ever before with the power of social media allowing videos to go viral which, in turn, promotes brands or builds campaigns.

There is a now a whole industry given over to producing great content for videos which are posted on YouTube or on individual websites. Great content really does go far and allow direct interaction with an audience.

A friend sent over this video which made me smile earlier which shows how satire has moved into the mainstream to such an extent it is now being used to sell fast-food. What would the team on That Was The Week That Was have thought of this I wonder:

Apparently Mugabe has demanded an  apology from Nandos - they have refused. Good.
