Don't work hard? Don't expect state subsidies

I have written an opinion piece for this month's Total Politics. In it I call for fairness to be at the heart of the welfare state and also call on the Conservative Party to step up its fight against welfare-statism. I am very glad that since this article was published David Cameron has done exactly that.  It is a communications battle that this country cannot afford to lose.
