Triumphalism at Conservative Party conference

It seems at this early stage that the only triumphalism to be seen at Conservative Party conference is coming from the BBC. For some reason they are repeating what appears to be a corporate line in all reports that the Conservative Party didn't win the last election. They then sit back and hope to raise a reaction.

It must really grate that the Conservatives are in government and there is a Conservative Prime Minister.
